No deal - TripAdvisor Facebook App :(

Fun news can last only soo long. Early morning today news was swirling around that TripAdvisor has acquired Facebook application Where I?ve Been for $3 million. Even though the app has been installed by 2.3 million users, it always was a too good of a deal to be true. I just learnt from one of my sources that TripAdvisor is calling this as a no deal. I hope the source is right

EndGame - PR disaster from TripAdvisor, free publicity and users for Where I?ve Been, and for rest of of us - get back to developing regular Web20 apps instead of diverting resources to F8.
