Just in: Buglabs, HiPiHi, Live Folders, Blip.tv, Cozmo.tv

Buglabs: Few more details are coming out on the hardware-webservices mashup enabler about which i had written yesterday. Buglabs CEO Peter Semmelhack did a blog post on the motivation behind the startup. Following excerpt tells it all -

We see ourselves, our company and our product as a “bug” in the system of traditional CE; an agent for change.  We want to put more power in the hands of the individual to decide what gadgets they want and what features they should include.

HiPiHi: CScount has posted an interview(via) that they did with HiPiHi founder Hui Xu. For those, who are not following, HiPiHi is a Chinese virtual world developer i.e. Second Life for China. HiPiHi supposedly had raised significant cash earlier this year.

Live Folders: LiveSide is reporting that Windows Live Folders beta is expanding tomorrow. The news is good only for those people who already have an invite for the new service. As for what the service really does - you can upload and share you files with other users online. How lame is that. Are we in year 2007 or 1997?

Blip.tv: The videoblogging enabler today launched a new version of their site. Grab the new feature list from here.

CozmoTV: The San Francisco based video startup about which i have written couple of times before has launched a new release of their video platform. You can checkout more details by clicking here. Among others, new features include RSS Channels, and Blip.tv+Wordpress support. For those readers not following Cozmo, the startup enables creation and embedding of a branded television network in any site.

Those who have tried Hipihi before last week might want to download the latest version and give it a fresh try; the latest version has significant changes and improvements.
