Coghead gets Coglets aka Form Widgets

Coghead today officially got into the widget space with the announced beta launch of Coglets. A perfect complimentary part for the service I would say - Coghead customers being able to embed Coghead applications into any web page using the automatically generated code. In turn, these Coglets will be connected to the Coghead database making sure users don’t have to through the painful manual data merge process.
While the use cases are pretty obvious, advantage offered by Coglets is that it can be configured to allow either anonymous or authenticated access. According to the Coghead team, users can style Coglets to match the existing format and design of a website, and can even work with the Coghead API for additional control and customization.
As for pricing, Coghead is offering free use of Coglets during the beta period, which begins today. After the trial period ends later this year, a single Coglet can be purchased for $20 per month for unlimited users. I think that is a bit steep pricing given the fact that is per widget basis.
Denver based Trackvia is another startup offering a similar solution that operates at a more generic level in terms of form controls but comes for a lesser total price point.
