iLike gets dysfunctional; Crowds complain

With so much noise around iLike on Facebook it is almost impossible to filter the right signal. So I took out time to checkout what people are talking about the app at Facebook itself. Till now the app has been installed 3,313,254 times with users writing 2872 reviews. Well, those are pretty impressive number given the platform has been live only for few days. But going through the reviews for the app on Facebook tells some other story. Below are some of the negative ones I extracted from Facebook-
User Joe Schwickerath @ 2:22pm today
damnit get it workin!
User Erin Fitzpatrick-Wacker @ 2:33pm today
i tried to hide the iLike challenge on my profile and now everything will not show up. Even if I go to the settings and save the changes for it to be seen. It still says that it is invisible to everyone. WHY?!? please help!!
User Chanel Miller @ 1:46 PM today
Hey I cant find my songs or get to hear them!!! Can someone ask Scottie to please beam them down to us???
User Sari Crowe @ 1:17pm
why is this application such crap…
And the comments are full of similar complaints. To add to the confusion, even the comments are coming in really fast - almost 1 per 5 mins. It is not exactly clear as to what is happening out there, but one thing is for sure - iLike is not handling the situation too well. If these are mere capacity issues, iLike should be able to handle them over time. But in the meantime putting couple of people out there pacifying the crowd can save the day for the startup.
