Callwave voicemails come to iGoogle
By Vivek | June 7th, 2007 at 09:03 pm ET
It has been some time that I wrote about Callwave. While I have missed couple of updates from the Santa Barbara, California based company, I think the new widget launch of Callwave is pretty neat and needs to be written about. Today Callwave launched a new gadget for iGoogle users that lets them view list of their mobile voicemail messages and sort, prioritize and listen to those messages in any order they like. So officially I don’t need Yahoo Widget Engine anymore since it was there on my machine just for Callwave widgets.
The new voicemail gadget aside, Callwave is currently running a private beta of their voicemail to text message service that can potentially save you those precious daytime minutes. Now that would be another much needed app to subscribe to.

You need to read about Callwave at this Blog. This company needs to be looked at much more closely. Not what they appear to be. Most importantly, does not provide services to the masses as good as you might believe.
Read comments at website. I HAVE NO INTEREST AT ALL IN THIS WEBSITE. I is just where I published callwave review and problems- they will not help, so maybe others can!!

BAD EXPERIENCE WITH CALLWAVE.
I recommend using some company other than Callwave. I am having a very bad experience with them. I tried the free trial of their online fax service back in March. The number they assigned me wouldn’t answer on a Sunday, so I canceled the trial, and was told I would get a complete refund. I just assumed they would properly credit my card. On May 15 I called them after I noticed the credit was never issued. They assured me they would now issue me a full credit. The next day, the $22.95 credit was still not issued to my card. I called my credit card company to make sure it was not there are was not pending. I then called Callwave. They told me they show it was issued, and it would take 1-2 billing cycles to show up on my credit card. I told them I can check my credit card online, so I don’t have to wait for a statement, and that I called them to confirm. I tried to get a supervisor, but he was busy and was supposed to call me back. I called again the next day as they never called, and went through the same thing. The next day I finally got a supervisor, who told me it would take 1-2 cycles on THEIR end to issue me a credit, so in the mean time they will be earning more interest on my money as it’s in their account. I wonder if what they are doing is even legal.

CallWave is a Nightmare. I use it (Mobile Phone Service with pre-paid munutes) in my business….can’t buy minutes…can’t forward calls to my home phone…Customers unable to reach me….support is non exististent. They dont’t know when they will be able to supply minutes…the list goes on.
This company is about to launch some new business….you have to be insane to go near them.
