Wambo gets swapping with Swapper

Wambo, one of the faster pushing instant messaging company, today launched another product, Swapper, that as expected pushes your p2p content faster than the competition(read Bittorrent and likes). Now I am not sure if we needed another p2p app, but anything that gets me done with things quickly is what I need. Swapper is not in the traditional p2p game where you can search for music or videos. Instead it is a pure p2p app that does what it is told - swap files.
As for the reasons behind Swapper being fast, Aranud/Xavier and team have added this clever feature of caching the content on their servers when uploaded for the first time. So anytime the content is requested for again, Swapper just looks at the digital signature of file to determine if content should be delivered from cache or from your machine.
Drag-n-drop support, sending files to offline buddies, access via Google/AOL/Yahoo/MSN ids, and remote access to the content for 30 days makes the experience that much better.

Thank you for all the feedback you have provided Wambo since day one - and accepting to spend time with us sharing your ideas and vision. Arnaud, Guillaume and I regularly refer to your blog and to your emails in our discussions - you are one of the few who goes beyond just reporting news, which is remarkable. -Xavier
