Thanks for the positive feedback. We are getting great response to the iGoogle Gadgets. We found the difference between the Yahoo Widgets and Google Gadgets to be analogous to on-premise vs. on-demand software; thus we'll be doing more with the Google gadgets :-)

The Gadgets are available from our site, the Google Enterprise gallery (http://www.google.com/enterprise/gallery/apps/gadgets.html), and Appexchange any day now. Keep sending us your feedback and we'll do more!

[...] So, what we really need are frictionless apps system that run right off our personalized pages. Appirio is doing a great job in bringing Salesforce content onto iGoogle, and Yahoo Widgets. I would say, a great option for existing Salesforce users who want to access data without browsing onto Salesforce.com. While Appirio widgets are for free as of now, you still need to pay for Salesforce. That would be a pricey option if you want to manage basic things like - contacts, tasks, appointment,…. [...]

Vivek,

Thanks, but I've had my hands full with Spanning Sync the past few months. That being said, Appirio CEO Chris Barbin and I have a shared vision of where this whole Enterprise 2.0 thing is going. For the time being, we're plowing different parts of the same field, but I'm sure we'll meet in the middle at some point. :-)

Regards,
Charlie
