Video sharing investment continues in Asia
By Vivek | April 3rd, 2007 at 08:42 am ET
South Korean based video sharing startup Pandora.tv(don’t confuse it with US based Internet radio Pandora.com) has raised $10 million in Series B round of funding. According to PEHub, DCM-Doll Capital Management led the funding round which also participated by existing investors including Altos Ventures, STIC International and Saehan Ventures. The amount funds raised more that what Youtube and Revver had been able to raise in their Series B rounds(Youtube - $8 million, Revver - $8.7 million). Is 2 year old startup dreaming for a bigger exit than Youtube? Anyway, unlike Youtube, Pandora.tv comes with unlimited personal uploading video space. As like anyone else in the game, Pandora will be available on wireless networks sometime this year.
