24access: mobile-pc bridge gets funded

By Vivek Puri

Netherlands based 24access Solutions has closed its Series A round of funding led by Big Bang Ventures and Solid Ventures. 24access PC based Mobile Media Center enables 2 way interaction between PC and mobile phones. You can basically stream you photos, audio, videos, and streaming content from webcams. As for the supported phones, 24access works with most of the smartphones including Blackberry Pearl. The startup’s website, application, and support are all bit shaky right now and you might have play around a bit to get the content streaming.

Soonr is another startup doing PC-mobile hookups including WebEx integration, and access to data stored on PCs. Avvenu is another player.
