FON today officially came out with the free La Fonera offer for US and European users. From today (21st December) Foneros will be able to invite up to 3 friends to join FON and receive a free La Fonera. Earlier I had written about FON sending out free routers to users located in US and couple of European countries.
Instead of sending out the routers to anyone who asks for it, I like FON’s rollout methodology. To me their plan looks like — New offer 
Run usage analytics Identify high potential areas Compare this number to stock at hand Rollout New Plan. This planning effort ensures that FON has continuous activity at the site, with more users looking to join in all the time from more than 1 country.

According to startupsquad each member can give 3 invitations/routers.
