Decipho launches social search

By Vivek Puri

Decipho today launched its social search engine that lets users filter results by categories. You can add or remove categories to your search request to refine your results. Besides this Decipho is able to relate common results among different search strings, and enables users to rate search results. Decipho’s social meter enables users to filter results by their ratings in a particular category.

I don’t think these features will really drive people to using Decipho especially since the site search is powered by Ask.com. Even if some of the features catch up, Google can easily incorporate them into its personalized search offering.
