Laszlo Systems secures $8 Million Funding

Laszlo Systems has secured $8 Million in the Series C funding round lead by WI Harper Group. Laszlo Systems was founded by David Temkin is situated in San Mateo, California. Earlier this year in April, Lazlo Systems has closed series B round of funding, which totaled $6.25 million. Lazlo will be using this funding to expedite product development, expand sales and marketing.

Laszlo Systems is the developer of Ajax open source platform OpenLaszlo, which enables developers to create Web 2.0 applications with rich user interface capabilities. OpenLaszlo is an XML-native foundation for building next generation Web applications. Earthlink, Yahoo, Behr Paints, La Quinta and any many others rely on OpenLaszlo to deliver state-of-the-art applications serving millions of users. OpenLaszlo is released under the open source CPL.
